
Dr. Clint T. Taylor, OD
Clint T. Taylor, OD, received his Doctorate in Optometry (OD) from the Indiana University School of Optometry in Bloomington, Indiana, in 2005. In 2001 Dr. Taylor graduated from McKendree College in Lebanon, Illinois, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He graduated from Pope County High School in Golconda, Illinois in 1997.
In 2005, Dr. Taylor founded Taylor Eye Care in Carmi, Illinois. Dr. Taylor’s vision was to have an optometric practice that focused on excellent patient care, technological innovation, and continual improvement in all aspects of practice. Taylor Eye Care has grown to become a truly elite eye care practice.
Dr. Taylor is a member of the American Optometric Association and Southern Illinois Optometric Society, and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Illinois Optometric Association. He is past president of both the Carmi Chamber of Commerce and Carmi Kiwanis Club, and currently serves on the board of the White County CEO (Creating Entrepreneurial Opportunities) Program. Dr. Taylor is a member of the First Christian Church in Carmi.
Dr. Taylor, a native of Golconda, Illinois, is married to Kelly, a teacher with the Carmi White County School system. They have two daughters, Audrey and Norah, and a son, Jack. He enjoys working on his family’s farm, fishing, reading, and spending time with his family.
